Responsibilities/Achievements: Day to day running of Studios, Black & White, Colour and Alternative Process darkrooms; Provided administrative support and contributed to the daily running of the Department; Maintenance, ordering and dispensing of consumables within the departments budget. Maintained and monitored Health and Safety policies and procedures within the Studio; Organised and implemented maintenance programmes for equipment and facilities; Prepared and conducted training sessions and demonstrations of photographic techniques, processes and equipment; Assisted academic staff in the preparation of lectures and workshops; Supervised and provided technical support for students and their ongoing projects; Provided advice on appropriate and safe preparation and application of materials and on the correct safe use of equipment; Prepared chemical solutions for both black and white and colour processing and printing, and alternative processes; Designed and maintained a 20,000 slide file library for use in lectures and seminars; Provided photographs for the college, for social and publicity purposes.
